1st SAT - EAA Chapter 330 meetings are normally held the 3rd Saturday of each month, 11 A.M. except for December. In December, we have our annual Christmas party at an area restaurant. Meetings are at The Briar Patch Airport, Springfield, Georgia (about 30 miles NW of Savannah). The Briar Patch has a single 2,600-ft. grass runway. Members drive or fly to the meetings depending on the weather. GPS coordinates are 32° 26' 795" N, 81° 20' 165" W. There is a short business meeting followed by lunch - anything from hot dogs or hamburgers to low-country boil - for $3.00 per person. The time before and after our meeting is spent hangar flying or going up in the real thing.
